Symptoms:
- I would like to sign up for email alerts from Unity.
- How can I unsubscribe from receiving marketing emails from Unity?
- I want to be notified about Unity news, updates and upcoming events via email.
Cause:
Any Unity news, product updates, promotions, and upcoming events will be communicated to our community through email, depending on their email preferences.
News and updates will often be featured on the Unity Blog and other Unity platforms, including social media, however you can also be notified directly via email if you prefer.
Resolution:
Email notifications and communication preferences can be managed from within your Unity ID.
To update your email preferences, follow the steps below:
- Sign in to your Unity ID
- Scroll down the page to the Marketing Activities section.
- Click the Edit pencil icon.
- Select or de-select the email notifications as appropriate. There is also an option to receive all or unsubscribe from all.
- Confirm the changes by clicking the Save your preferences button
| Note: If all options are unchecked and you do not wish to receive these kinds of emails, you will still receive important transactional emails that directly relate to your account. These types of emails will consist of password/account access notifications, purchase confirmations and subscription-related messages. These emails cannot be prevented. |
Your Unity email notifications will now be tailored to the preferences you have selected going forward.
