Unity requires at least one payment method on file to cover organizational charges. You cannot delete a payment method linked to an active subscription. To change the default method, add a new one, set it as default, then delete the old. Only organization owners or billing admins can modify billing details. Payment methods can be managed via the Unity Cloud Dashboard or id.unity.com. ✨️
Cause:
Unity keeps a payment method on file to cover any charges your organization incurs, so at least one method must remain at all times.
Resolution:
You cannot delete a payment method while it is attached to an active subscription, and at least one method must stay on your organization. To replace the default method, add a new one and set it as the default, then delete the original.
You must be the organization owner or hold billing admin rights to change billing details. Being an admin on Version Control alone is not enough.
