The 403 error in Chrome may stem from extensions, corrupted cached data, or VPN/proxy settings within Chrome. To resolve, disable all extensions, check for VPN/proxy configurations, and create a new Chrome profile if needed. If issues persist, contact Customer Experience with details of attempted steps. ✨️
Cause:
This issue may be limited to the default Google Chrome profile. Common causes include browser extensions or corrupted cached data, which can sometimes persist even after reinstalling Chrome.
Resolution:
- Disable all Chrome extensions and clear cookies. Since Incognito mode typically runs without extensions, an active extension (such as an ad blocker, privacy tool, or VPN extension) is likely interfering with the authentication scripts. Disable all extensions and try logging in again.
- Check for a VPN or proxy configured inside Chrome rather than system-wide. This can block the connection to Unity's servers and produce the 403 error.
- Create a New Chrome Profile. Create a new Chrome profile and sign in from it. If your original profile data is corrupted, a clean profile confirms it.
If none of these works, contact the Customer Experience team and include which steps you have tried.
