You can remove two-factor authentication (TFA) from your Unity ID if you can still sign in and generate a code, useful when switching devices. Sign in at Unity ID, go to Security, edit TFA settings, and disable or remove TFA by confirming with a code. An email confirms the removal. If you can't sign in or receive codes, contact Customer Experience for help. For Unity Ads Tipalti TFA issues, contact Unity Ads Support.
- Sign in to your Unity ID.
- Click Security to the left of the screen.
- Click Edit (pencil icon) to the right of the Two-Factor Authentication header.
-
Here, you can see your existing TFA details. To remove these, press either Disable All or Remove (x icon).
- Once pressed, you'll need to input a TFA code sent to you via an authenticator app.
- To confirm the removal of TFA from your account, click Remove in the pop-up box shown.
- An email has now been sent to you to confirm that TFA has been disabled.
| Note: For TFA issues on your Unity Ads Tipalti profile, please contact Unity Ads Support. |
If you cannot sign in or your codes are not arriving
This process only works while you can still sign in and generate a code. If you have lost your device or your codes have stopped arriving, you will not be able to remove TFA yourself and will need help from our Customer Experience team.
