- I am unable to delete a payment method.
- I can't remove my payment method in the Unity Cloud Dashboard.
- I can't delete a payment method for a Unity Cloud subscription.
Cause:
Unity requires at least one payment method to be on file to cover any potential charges. A payment method cannot be deleted if it is associated with an active subscription.
If you have multiple payment methods and wish to delete the default one, add a new payment method first. Set the new payment method as the default.
Resolution:
To delete a payment method, follow these steps:

Navigate to cloud.unity.com and sign in with your Unity credentials.

Using the left-hand menu, select Administration.

Using the left-hand menu, select Payment methods.

Click 'Delete' next to the payment option you wish to delete.
| Note: Payment instruments cannot be completely removed from an active subscription. |
Important Notes:
- You must be the owner or have billing admin rights for the organization to edit billing details.
- Being an Admin on Version Control alone is not sufficient to make these changes.
